Now in its fourteenth year, the Case Competition is our largest annual event, organized each year by the Consulting Club at MIT and the Harvard Graduate Consulting Club. Over the course of the two-week event, you will work in a team of four to tackle a business case proposed by a real client while networking with representatives from top consulting firms. You will have the opportunity to deliver your recommendation at the closing ceremony to the client and a panel of consultant judges. This is an excellent opportunity to gain business experience and build your resume.  Many of our participants have used the experience and networking gained from this event to land full-time positions with prominent consulting firms!

Eligibility:

• Current graduate and professional students (non-MBA) at Harvard and MIT
• Current postdoctoral researchers at Harvard and MIT (including affiliated institutions)
• No prior business knowledge or consulting experience is required

In order to participate, you must be able to attend the following mandatory events:

• Kick-off Session: Friday, April 21st (3:00pm - 5:30pm, Virtual)
• Client Presentation: Monday, April 24th (TBD, Virtual)
• Consultant Mentoring Session: Friday, April 28th (2:00pm - 5:00pm, Virtual/In-person)
• Industry Mentoring Session: Monday, May 1st (TBD, Virtual)
• Semifinal, Final, and Reception: Friday, May 5th (9:00am - 5:00pm, In Person)

To ensure efficient teamwork among participants and sufficient mentorship from mentors, we will limit the number of participants to 40 this year AND applications will be accepted on a rolling basis. All participants are required to attend the in-person seminal/final on May 5th. There is a $25 participation fee per person for prize money for the top three teams.
