- Resources library: Find and use handbooks, policies and select workshop slides to guide your career exploration, job search, and professional pursuits
Explore careers, build networks and connect with employers:
- Internship Advising: Schedule an appointment with your school-specific career advisor (see above) for advice at any stage, and get additional mentoring through required courses (concurrent INDP 850 for master's and post-completion MEDSCI 325 for PhD)
- Finding Opportunities: Use Internship and Job Postings, Career Fairs and the Employer Database, as well as these General Job Search Sites, to search and apply
- Manage Searches: Use Launchpad Resources such as the Document Library, for quick access to policies and application preparation handbooks, and Pathways for step-by-step checklists
- Report, Complete and Evaluate Experiences: Complete the Placement Record to notify and get program-specific approvals and support, and to setup end-of-experience evaluations
Use tools to manage the information career advisors and registered employers can see you about you:
- Personal Profile: Check your data imported from the student information system
- Academic Profile: Complete onboarding survey to share academic and career exploration, upskilling and job search goals with advisors
- Public Profile: Share your unique strengths, skills, education, experience, courses, projects and related highlights in an access-controllable webpage
- Your Documents: Upload copies of job search materials, such as resumes and cover letters, for use in direct applications to jobs in this system
Interact with employers for networking, informational interviews and to find open positions using
- Employers database: Explore, search and filter across the wide range of employers partnering with our office for student recruitment
- Job Postings: Search an extensive list of open opportunities sourced by our team, submitted by employers or shared across the university
- Career Fairs: See upcoming university-wide career fairs (in-person or remote) organized around specific industries
- Career Outcomes Survey: Complete a brief form to share your first academic or professional step after graduation
