Training Framework

Content on Career Navigator is organized around 10 themes, separated as 5 blocks below. This organization is designed to encourage students to take advantage of self-study, evergreen resources; synchronous events; and not-for-credit informational courses (which are series of linked events such as workshops).

The typical offerings of workshops and info courses are outlined below, to help students understand when during the year to expect training in their areas of interest.

[*] = Training areas which are only delivered upon program(s) request. Programs must co-host the event and guarantee at least 10 participants, including additional students by partnering with other programs.

[**] = Career Weeks were launched and are hosted by the Office of Career and Professional Development (OCPD) at Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health with increasing engagement and co-sponsorship from the Career Navigator team in the Office for Graduate Education (OGE) at Harvard Medical School
