TWO ASSISTANT PROFESSORS BIOLOGY (PHYSIOLOGY, DEVELOPMENTAL BIOLOGY, NEUROSCIENCE, BIOLOGY EDUCATION) - Missouri Western State University invites applications for two tenure-track positions to begin in August 2019. Expertise in physiology, anatomy, developmental biology, neuroscience, histology, toxicology, endocrinology, and/or science education is desired. Primary teaching responsibilities will be human anatomy and physiology, developmental biology, and/or nonmajors general biology. Opportunities to teach and develop courses in the candidate’s area of expertise will also be available. Other responsibilities might include delivery and assessment of online nonmajors general biology for undergraduates and/or high school dual credit students. The successful candidates must demonstrate strong commitments to teaching, scholarly activity, and mentoring undergraduate student research. An earned doctorate is required by the start of employment.
