    Counseling and Mental Health Services at Harvard

    Counseling and Mental Health Services (CAMHS) at Harvard is a counseling and mental health support service which seeks to work collaboratively with students and the University to support individuals who are experiencing some measure of distress in their lives. Both urgent care and recurring appointments are available through CAMHS.

    Writing for the Biomedical Sciences Course (INDP300)

    This HMS course prepares students for the demands of writing in the medical sciences. The class has two linked agendas: students will learn how to turn raw research into polished academic argument and students will practice specific lessons through exercises that allow them to think about their own developing scholarship.

    The Ombuds Office supports an ethical and civil culture, encouraging mutual understanding and resolution through respectful dialogue and fair processes

    Health Professions Recruitment and Exposure Program (HPREP)

    The Health Professions Recruitment & Exposure Program (HPREP) at Harvard Medical School is a high school science enrichment program aimed at recruiting high school students from the Boston area, particularly those from underserved and underrepresented backgrounds, into science and medicine.

    Countway Library Therapy Dogs

    Feeling stressed? Come relax with one of our trained therapy dogs. Countway Cuddles is a therapy dog program that takes place on the 1st floor of the library, near the circulation desk.
    Sometimes the dogs need to take a break or cancel, so be sure to check online regularly.

    Let's Talk

    Let's Talk is a program that provides easy access to informal, confidential conversations with clinicians from CAMHS. Clinicians hold walk-in hours at designated sites around campus. There is no appointment necessary and no fee for the service.

    Workshops and Support Groups

    Participation in one of CAMHS' many groups or workshops provides a safe and supportive place to discuss your concerns and learn coping skills with others who may have similar challenges.
