Ally: Someone who is not a member of an underrepresented group but takes action to support
that group.

An ally is defined as someone who is not a member of an underrepresented group, but takes action to support that group. This resource - from the Harvard University Graduate School of Arts and Sciences (GSAS) and the Minority Biomedical Scientists of Harvard (MBSH) - provides tips for being a good ally, both internally and externally, specifically when it comes to issues of race. It also contains a list of resources, from both Harvard and elsewhere, pertaining to anti-racism and allyship.
