Using Python for Research course

July 21, 2020

After a very successful run of the Using Python for Research course earlier in the summer, we are pleased to be able to accept another cohort for a course run that begins July 31st. The course is based on the Harvard X course of the same name and, in addition to completing those lessons, students meet every Wednesday and Friday for Zoom-based problem solving sessions. A more detailed syllabus and schedule are attached. Interested students should fill out this short registration form by midnight Boston time on Sunday, July 26th to be added to the list. Students will be randomly assigned to the course from this list, though priority may be given to certain programs and/or G years depending on capacity. Note that Using Python for Research is a quarter (2-credit) course and is graded SAT/UNSAT.
