Postdoctoral opportunity in Immunology @ UNC Chapel Hill

September 27, 2018

The Tsagaratou Lab is seeking for creative, independent, self-motivated postdoctoral scholars to lead projects focused on the epigenetic and transcriptional regulation of T cell function. We are particularly interested in elucidating the role of the Ten Eleven Translocation (TET) family of proteins that are involved in active DNA demethylation. We are using genetically modified mice, primary cell culture, multiparameter flow cytometry and next generation sequencing to dissect the role of TET proteins in inflammation, autoimmunity and cancer. Researchers have access to state of the art...

Post-doctoral Position on Regenerative Medicine @ The Whitehead Institute

September 5, 2018

The Knouse Lab recently opened at the Whitehead Institute for Biomedical Research and we are seeking post-doctoral fellows to join our team! Our lab is harnessing the incredible genetic tractability and regenerative capacity of the mammalian liver to study the reversible cell cycle state known as quiescence in a physiologic context. We are interested in the mechanisms underlying the reversibility of quiescence and its distinction from terminal differentiation with the ultimate goal of unlocking novel approaches for regenerative medicine. To address these questions, we are developing...
