August 9, 2023

The Theodoris Lab at Gladstone Institutes / UCSF is looking for talented computational postdoctoral fellows who are passionate about developing foundation models for network biology to accelerate discoveries in the biomedical field. The Theodoris Lab is composed of a highly collaborative multidisciplinary team of computational and experimental researchers and welcomes applications from similarly collaborative and motivated individuals. The position will involve creating innovative models like the lab’s recently published Geneformer foundation model for network biology (Nature 2023: rdcu.be/ddrx0) as well as applying these models to discover candidate therapeutic targets for human disease. Postdocs will have access to large-scale experimental data and state-of-the-art computational infrastructure to accomplish their research goals and will have ample opportunities for career development towards both academic and industry positions. The Theodoris Lab is embedded in the Gladstone Institute of Data Science and Biotechnology and the Gladstone Institute of Cardiovascular Disease.
