Postdoctoral Fellow, Epithelial Biology, Cell Biology, Immunology @ Brigham and Women's Hospital

The Department of Dermatology is seeking candidates for a mentored post-doctoral research fellowship in epithelial biology, cell biology, immunology and other disciplines relevant to skin diseases.  Mentor’s laboratories may be in any department at Harvard or Harvard affiliated hospitals. Positions will be funded by our longstanding Training Grant (T32) in Dermatology based at BWH.  Funding is anticipated, starting on July 1, 2022 for one year, with the expectation that funding will be renewed for a second year.  Candidates must be willing to commit at least two years to postdoctoral training.  Candidates must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents and should aspire to career in biomedical research within academic medicine. Dermatology trained physician scientists are encouraged to apply. 

Funding includes a stipend equivalent to the PGY level and $1,000 travel funds. (Please note: host laboratories are responsible for paying any difference in salary between Partners clinical PGY level and NIH PGY stipend level from non-NIH funds.) The 12-month period of funding will begin on the effective appointment date to the Training Grant.

  • A brief research proposal including references (not to exceed 5 pages)

  • CV or NIH biosketch

  • Letter of reference/support from the faculty mentor
