We are seeking a Postdoctoral Associate to work within the lab of HHMI Investigator Dr. Allan Spradling at The Carnegie Institution for Science. The Spradling Lab focuses on oogenesis, stem cell biology, and ecogenomics – in addition to a number of other projects spanning across the realm of genomics and molecular biology.  The institute and lab provide a highly supportive atmosphere for developing new techniques and novel projects – and look for candidates who are innovative, creative, and who possess a strong drive for success.

General Qualifications:

• PhD. and/or M.D./Ph.D. degree in cell Biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, or a related field

• Effective communication skills, self-motivated, and a strong work ethic

• Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative group environment

• Strong publication record is highly preferred
