[HILS] COVID-19 Mask assembly volunteers needed

April 2, 2020
We are seeking volunteers to assist our team (https://maskson.org/) in assembling medical personal protective equipment (PPE) in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Our masks have been clinically tested and are already in use at hospitals in the Boston area and beyond, and we need help constructing more. We are aiming to produce upwards of 6,000 masks this week, ramping up even more into April. If you are interested in volunteering, please fill out this form ASAP.

Filling out this form does not constitute commitment, rather we would like to build up a volunteer database. If called on, you can expect to be taught how to assemble all components of the masks with members of our team and other volunteers. We will ensure every effort to maintain social distancing during production and minimize risk to one another. If you have any questions, please email bostonppe2020@gmail.com.

We are also accepting donations at this link. If you are interested in getting more involved in other ways, please fill out this form at the MasksOn (formerly 3DCorps) website.

Production will likely resume Friday, April 3, and we will need volunteers on a rolling basis. Please share this message with others you think may be interested or able to help with our efforts, and thank you for joining us to help protect our healthcare professionals.
