Description We are currently looking to recruit a Healthcare Analyst to join our fast-growing business based in Boston . This role is specialising in Infectious Diseases.
Key Responsibilities Secondary research 
• Continuous tracking & evaluation of latest medical evidence in specific disease areas 
• Conducting desk research to provide additional context & insight for clients 
• Attending medical conferences, and providing reports on key clinical & commercial updates for clients 

Primary research 
• Building a network of experts in our disease-specific research panels 
• Identifying key topical issues for discussion with key opinion-leading physicians (KOLs) 
• Designing research questionnaires and surveys 
• Conducting interviews with KOLs and other healthcare professionals 

Syndicated analysis 
• Producing insightful & actionable business intelligence reports and briefings for clients 

Customized projects 
• Delivering ad hoc customized & bespoke projects for clients, working closely with our consulting team 

Client services 
• Building and maintaining relationships with pharmaceutical industry clients 
• Delivering presentations of key research findings to clients
What We Look For Qualifications 
• A university graduate in a science or business-related subject 
• A post-graduate qualification (e.g. MBA or PhD) would be desirable, though not essential 
• Experience of providing business analysis or consulting services for the healthcare or pharmaceutical industries would be beneficial 

Additional requirements 
• Experience and/or familiarity with Infectious Disease (bacterial, fungal, viral illnesses, microbiology) is highly preferable, but not essential 
• Ability to work independently to deliver research and analysis projects to challenging timescales 
• Ability to compile and assimilate large amounts of research and data in a short time 
• Strong business writing skills 
• Confident, articulate communication and presentation skills 
• An active interest in and knowledge of the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries 
• Advanced MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
