Assistant Professor in Biology PR# 19-36 Brescia University, a Catholic liberal arts university in the Ursuline tradition, seeks a broadly trained individual for a tenure-track assistant professor position in Biology to begin Fall 2020. Applicants must have a Ph.D. – preferably with coursework and/or credentials in Ecology – and must show a commitment to undergraduate education. The successful applicant will demonstrate ability or willingness to teach both majors and non-majors biology in traditional on-campus format, with an occasional online General Education class, and will have credentials to teach statistics. The position also does student advising and moderates a student club. Preference will be given to candidates with experience and interest in current STEM pedagogy. The department encourages and fosters creative teaching.
