# Assistant Professor of Chemical Education @ UNC Greensboro

November 14, 2018

The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at UNC Greensboro is seeking to fill a tenure-track faculty position in the area of Chemical Education at the rank of Assistant Professor. Please see the **attached flyer** and address any questions to **Dr. Jerry Walsh, <jlwash@uncg.edu>**. Review of applications has already started. Feel free to distribute widely.

As the Biology Department DBER, I am personally very excited about this position. Biology and Chemistry work close together in science education, including as part of the NSF/CUR Transformations Project to introduce research-based experienced (CUREs) throughout the curriculum. Greensboro is centrally located in North Carolina where you drive in any direction to reach mountains, beaches, or big-city life. There is much interaction in the area of science education innovation between the NC colleges and universities that has made me feel connected like never before.
