Brandeis University New Trajectories for the PhD Seminar Series 2020-2021

January 4, 2021

This seminar series shows the diverse professional contexts where people with humanities and social science PhDs are getting jobs today. The seminars answer questions such as, how do you find jobs that value skills you've acquired in graduate school? How does academic training translate to getting jobs in industry? And, what it is like to do social science and humanistic work outside of academia? Panelists will narrate how they went from graduate study to their current job, describe the intellectually stimulating work that's happening in a variety of professional contexts and offer concrete advice for how you can get similar positions.

Organized by Jonathan Anjaria.
