Biology Scientist @ Caraway Theraputics

Caraway Therapeutics is seeking a PhD-level scientist to join our Biology team.  This position will focus on the validation of new technologies and in vitro assays to support drug development on existing or new targets.  The Scientist I will identify, design, and execute in vitro experiments at varying scales. They will also direct external studies and projects at CROs, possibly including in vivo experiments.

Applicants should have a PhD in Biology or a related discipline, with 0-2 years of postdoc and/or industry experience in the fields of neuroscience, immunology, or rare disease.  Scientific creativity, careful and rigorous attention to experimental detail, and the ability to adapt to a rapidly evolving research landscape are key attributes of the ideal candidate.  Caraway is a highly collaborative work environment, so strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of an integrated team are critical.  Experience with diverse in vitro biology techniques, including cell/tissue culture, microscopy, molecular biology, and biochemistry, is desired.  Applicants must be authorized to work in the US.
