We have an exciting, entry-level opportunity in biopharma consulting for an enthusiastic, inquisitive, and entrepreneurial hard worker.

The scope of work will be wide ranging and intellectually stimulating.

You will have exposure to some of the most exciting, cutting edge biological science that is being
developed by the biotech and pharmaceutical industry today.

You will learn how to assess opportunities and quantify risk in support of investment and strategy
decisions across a wide range of disease areas, product types and therapeutic technologies.

You will work closely with the senior consulting teams in Boston and London and will have
considerable opportunity to grow within Alacrita.

Your work will be driven by the business decisions that our clients must make, and the diverse needs
they have, each representing a unique challenge and opportunity.

You will be trained to interpret client needs, to analyze market opportunities and R&D hurdles, and
we will work with you to incorporate actionable solutions into our service offering.

In time, you will take on more responsibility, with opportunities to represent Alacrita at industry
conferences and in client interactions, and will play more prominent roles on our assignments.

Who we're looking for
We need a sharp, intelligent, and entrepreneurial life sciences PhD, or MBA with a life sciences B.A./B.S. degree, who has the drive and determination to succeed in a high caliber professional services firm.
Qualifying requirements:

A life sciences PhD or a life sciences B.A./B.S. plus an MBA.

1 - 3 years of experience working in or with business development, technology transfer or another
business-oriented function in the drug or device industry is preferred.

Ideally, at least a basic understanding of the drug discovery and development process and a general
awareness of emerging therapeutic technologies in the healthcare sector.

Legally eligible to work in the United States without US employer sponsorship.
In addition, you:

Are personable, with the ability to quickly strike up a rapport with strangers

Show a high degree of precision in thinking and communicating

Can encapsulate ideas and concepts in concise, well written English

Are highly numerate, data-driven and comfortable with complex spreadsheets

Have excellent attention to detail and orientation toward meticulous work

Possess strong organizational skills

Are able to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality

Project and maintain a professional and positive attitude
