Faculty tenure-track position, Molecular Biology

The Department of Biology at Utah Valley University (https://www.uvu.edu/biology/) invites applications for an assistant/associate professor tenure-track position in Molecular Biology beginning August 2019.

Minimum qualifications: Applicants should have graduated from an accredited institution with a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology or related biological discipline, have experience with a broad array of research methods in the field of in Molecular Biology, and a strong commitment to effective teaching methods. Teaching responsibilities include General Biology for majors, Molecular Biology, and/or other courses within the applicant’s area of expertise, as needed by the department. The successful candidate will be expected to develop an undergraduate research program that results in peer-reviewed publications. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and students to promote successful growth of the department and serve on department, college, and university committees as fitting a tenure-track position. Applicants with experience and interest in teaching hybrid and online instruction are especially encouraged to apply.
