Serve as member of the academic staff with primary clinical responsibility for establishing avprimary care practice and improving patient care for underserved populations.
include the following: Precept fourth year medical students in ambulatory clinic, mentor third year medical students during inpatient wards, and precept residents on inpatient wards, ambulatory clinic and addiction medicine consult service; support the design and delivery of didactics for medical students and residents; and practice in both ambulatory clinic, inpatient wards and addiction medicine consult service. Work as researcher to design, implement, and evaluate research projects and serve as lead investigator on various clinical research projects.
Must have M.D. or equivalent, MA medical license, and Board Certification in Internal
Medicine. Must demonstrate research ability through peer-reviewed publications.
