  • Position description: "The Department of Biology at Tufts University is seeking a part-time lecturer to teach an intermediate course in general animal physiology (Bio 116- General Physiology II) for spring 2019. The course covers the following topics: endocrinology, neurophysiology including the special senses, skeletal muscles, and the gastrointestinal tract. The course normally has around 25- 40 students enrolled. (General Physiology I- Bio 115- which is taught in the fall term, discusses the renal, respiratory, and cardiovascular systems).
  • Qualifications: The preferred candidate should have attained a PhD in a physiologically related area and have experience teaching animal physiology to undergraduates.
