#  Immunology Postdoc Position, Ainslie Lab @ University of North Carolina

The Ainslie Lab (<https://ainslielab.web.unc.edu/>) at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill has two postdoctoral researcher openings. We are seeking immunologists to contribute to interdisciplinary projects in immunoengineering. There are two NIH funded projects: 1. The use of CAR-T/NKT cells for glioblastoma therapy. 2. The generation of an inverse vaccine to treat multiple sclerosis and other autoimmune diseases.

Applicants with experience in one or more of the following areas are encouraged to apply: flow cytometry, animal models for either autoimmune diseases or cancer, mammalian cell culture, ELISA, immune-cell isolation and culture, vaccine formulation, drug-delivery systems, immunological assays, and in vivo evaluation of therapeutic or vaccine candidates. Experience with flow cytometry and animal studies is particularly desirable.

The Ainslie Lab is based in the heart of the medical campus at University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, located in the Research Triangle (Chapel Hill – Raleigh – Durham). The Research Triangle is home to more than 675 life-science companies, 24,000 industry employees, and nearly $10 billion in regional economic output with exceptional access to leading academic, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and translational research partners.

Postdoctoral researchers will join a collaborative, interdisciplinary team and receive hands-on training across the research process, including formulation development, physicochemical characterization, cell-based assays, immunological analyses, animal studies, and translational evaluation.

Start date: Immediate to flexible
