#  Instructional Faculty Full-Time - Chemistry

Montgomery College, Rockville Campus is seeking an outstanding **full-time Chemistry faculty** member beginning **January 2026 or August 2026**. We are seeking an enthusiastic professional with a strong commitment to undergraduate education and the ability to motivate and engage students to succeed.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to student success, working in a multi-cultural environment, commitment to the community college mission and have effective oral and written communication skills. The Rockville Chemistry department has multiple general chemistry and organic chemistry teaching laboratories in a modern building facility with dedicated laboratory staff to support instructional laboratories. Faculty and students have access to analytical instrumentation including low-field NMR, FT-IR, GC-MS, AA, HPLC and UV and fluorescence spectrophotometers. Faculty have opportunities to engage with students through honors coursework and in undergraduate research. Outstanding candidates with a passion for teaching chemistry are particularly encouraged to apply to join the award-winning faculty of the Montgomery College Rockville Chemistry Department.
