Jocelyn Spragg Symposium: Panel Discussion of Career Paths beyond the PhD

Please join us for the Annual Jocelyn Spragg Lecture and Career Paths Panel on Monday, April 22ndat 12:15 PM in the Cannon Room, Building C at Harvard Medical School. 

 

Our invited guest speaker is Dr. Tyrone Hayes, Professor of Integrative Biology at the University of California, Berkeley.  He will present work examining the effects of exogenous steroids in amphibian development in his talk “From Silent Spring to Silent Night: A Tale of Toads and Men”.

This symposium is in memory of Dr. Jocelyn Spragg who was a strong advocate for women and minorities in science. She established one of the first summer programs for undergraduates in the United States to increase diversity in science.
