Choosing a Modality
We will introduce Amgen’s broad toolkit of drug modalities and describe how we choose the “right” modality for drug discovery, focusing on biologic medicines.
 

Speaker: Hao Chen, PhD
Hao is a Principal Scientist in Biologics at Amgen.  He started his industrial career at Amgen in 2006 as a scientist in the structure biology group and currently is a group leader in Protein Technologies, Biologics.  Hao’s work is focused on enabling and accelerating the Amgen discovery research including small molecule and biologics therapeutic programs by utilizing cutting-edge protein engineering and protein production technologies.
