Harvard Startup Week is dedicated to fostering Education, Connections, and Opportunities in entrepreneurship and the startup sector. Employer representatives will be invited to participate in several educational programs and networking events throughout Startup Week. **Student Eligibility:** Harvard Startup Week programming is open to all Harvard University students and recent alumni. Hear from alumni who have experience in the startup world either through internships/jobs or through being founders themselves, and learn how to network your way into this high growth, high impact field! Hosted by the FAS Office of Career Services. ***The Startup "Interview"*** **Tuesday, February 23rd**, **4:00-4:45pm ET** Interviewing for startups can be different than traditional big company recruiting. Hear from recent HBS alumni and founders on how to prepare for these conversations and communicate your value effectively. Hosted by the Harvard Business School MBA Career & Professional Development. ***Getting Involved and Exploring the Entrepreneurship Scene at Harvard*** **Wednesday, February 24th, 5:30-7:00pm ET** Feeling lost on how to get involved in the startup scene at Harvard? What are you signing up for if you say yes? Come meet Patrick Chung and Brandon Farwell of Xfund, the Harvard-affiliated early-stage venture fund that identifies and supports founders just like you. Xfund just announced its $120 million third fund. Xfund and its partners were the first investors in companies like 23andMe, Kensho, Plaid, Segment, Guideline, Robinhood, Gusto, Patreon, Andela, and others. Hosted by [Xfund](https://www.xfund.com/). ***The Pitch: How to Present Your Ideas to Potential Stakeholders and Investors*** **Friday, February 26th, 12:00-1:00pm ET** Last semester alone, the [Lemann Program on Creativity and Entrepreneurship (LPCE)](https://lpce.bokcenter.harvard.edu/entrepreneurship-studiolabs) awarded $42,500 to 50 early-stage startups, and we will continue to fund social impact ventures in the coming years. Our mission is to empower and prepare Harvard students to take the lead in solving global challenges by fostering entrepreneurial thinking within a liberal arts education. Through LPCE100 StudioLab courses, programming, and mentoring, our students develop the entrepreneurial skills and industry connections to move from ideation to solid concept to actionable proposal. As such, the aim of this workshop is to give you inside knowledge about what investors look for in a pitch and a hands-on workshop where you can get our feedback on your 20-second elevator pitch.
