Graduate students and postdocs are invited to join a fun and unique event next Thursday April 29, from 4:30-5:30pm CT (5:30-6:30 ET). This event is called "Expand Your Perspective: Art Institute Virtual Gallery Tour" and is an annual event typically done in person at the Art Institute of Chicago. Last year and this year's events have gone virtual! Here is the official blurb and how to join:

Take a virtual gallery tour of the Art Institute led by University of Chicago graduate students and postdocs! You’ll get the chance to learn more about grad student and postdoc research and how it helps us see artworks from a new and different perspective. Using images and closeups of individual artworks, your tour guides will highlight the often unexpected connections between scientific, historical, and literary research and artworks in the Art Institute’s collection. This event is part of UChicagoGRAD’s “Expand Your Perspective” series, highlighting the work of graduate students and postdocs across the university.
